As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Operations to help translate company strategy into structured execution and build the operational systems required to support our next phase of growth.
Role Overview The VP of Strategy & Operations will serve as a senior operator responsible for converting evolving strategy into clear priorities, structured decisions, and consistent execution across the company.
This role acts as a central driver of clarity, alignment, and accountability at the leadership level , working across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Finance, and Operations. The position will also design and implement the operating infrastructure required to scale the organization effectively.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational , able to bring structure to ambiguity while ensuring initiatives are properly resourced, executed, and tracked.
Key Responsibilities Shape and Structure Company Strategy
Partner with executive leadership to translate high-level objectives into a focused set of actionable company priorities
Bring clarity to ambiguous or evolving strategic discussions and drive alignment on direction
Define sequencing, dependencies, and feasibility across initiatives
Support leadership in evaluating tradeoffs across time, resources, and capital
Drive Company-Wide Execution
Ensure strategic priorities are clearly owned, appropriately resourced, and delivered
Work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Operations to reduce misalignment and remove execution bottlenecks
Track progress against commitments and ensure leadership maintains accountability and follow-through
Build and Evolve the Company Operating System
Establish and refine planning processes including:
Annual strategic planning
Quarterly execution planning
Multi-year strategic outlooks (3–5 year planning)
Implement operating cadences such as weekly and monthly leadership rhythms
Develop goal-setting frameworks (e.g., OKRs) and reporting structures
Create dashboards and decision frameworks that provide clear visibility into performance, progress, and risks
Improve Organizational Effectiveness
Ensure teams operate with clear goals, ownership structures, and accountability
Identify gaps in alignment, structure, or execution and work with leadership and HR to address them
Support leaders in improving team effectiveness and execution discipline
Act as a bridge across teams to ensure strategy is deployed consistently across the organization
Partner on Financial and Resource Planning
Work closely with the COO and Finance team to align strategy with financial and operational realities
Translate strategic initiatives into structured business cases with clear resource requirements and financial implications
Support prioritization through structured analysis and financial modeling
Executive Communications
Develop clear executive narratives and decision frameworks
Build high-quality materials such as board decks, strategic plans, and investment cases
Translate complex analyses into concise, decision-oriented insights
Required Experience
15+ years of professional experience in strategy, operations, consulting, investment, or business leadership roles
5+ years operating at a senior leadership level , preferably in high-growth technology companies
Experience driving cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and go-to-market organizations
Demonstrated experience building operating frameworks, planning processes, or company-wide execution systems
Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including business case development and financial modeling
Experience developing executive-level materials for leadership teams or boards
Proven ability to operate effectively without formal authority and drive alignment across senior stakeholders
Preferred Backgrounds
Strategy or operations leadership at a high-growth SaaS or AI company
Management consulting (e.g., strategy consulting firms) with operating experience in industry
Startup scaling environments where systems and processes were built from early stages
