Director of Technical Accounting - Northshore, MA (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a leading investment firm to hire a Director of Technical Accounting. This is a high‑impact role with strong visibility, working on complex transactions and partnering closely with senior leadership. This position will pay between $150‑200K on a base salary plus bonus and offers a hybrid 3/2 schedule.

What you’ll be doing:
Evaluate accounting for complex transactions (M&A, equity method, partnerships)
Partner with Finance and deal teams on new initiatives
Research and apply U.S. GAAP; document technical positions
Monitor new accounting standards and assess business impact
Support audits and liaise with external auditors
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)
5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical accounting exposure
Background in public accounting is highly preferred
Experience with complex structures (investments, partnerships, equity) is a big plus
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical guidance into practical solutions
