OLDHAM COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATION JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MULTI-TIERED SYSTEM OF SUPPORTS (MTSS) 1008.025AR Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree or higher; a valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate; Administrative certification preferred;

Minimum of five years successful teaching experience;

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with implementation and leadership of Multi‑Tiered System of Support;

Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing interventions through the use of evidence‑based practices;

Demonstrated expertise in the development of programs and supports to minimize the impact of behavioral and mental health needs on student achievement;

Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a variety of other roles to meet the needs of students;

Demonstrated knowledge and training in removing barriers to learning due to the impact of social‑emotional and/or mental health concerns.

REPORTS TO: Director of Multi‑tiered System of Supports

JOB GOAL: Support school staff to improve services for students via a multi‑tiered system of supports.

Performance Responsibilities

Support the implementation of MTSS structures, supports and tiered intervention through training, coaching and technical assistance.

Work with school leaders to develop a positive approach to systematically implement classroom and school‑wide behavior supports.

Work collaboratively with school leaders to support the implementation of a system of tiered intervention utilizing evidence‑based intervention programs and strategies.

Work collaboratively with school staff to implement programs based on the identified needs of students through a data‑driven approach.

Work collaboratively with the Director of MTSS to provide training and support to schools to effectively implement a variety of supports to address the academic, behavioral, and mental health needs of students.

Prepare regular progress reports for school, district and KDE staff to assess program impact on student success.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of MTSS.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Compensation will be based on 230 contract days on the board‑approved Director II salary schedule
