Overview

The attorney will handle matters primarily related to civil rights litigation arising under 42 USC 1983, and some labor, employment, and general tort litigation. Minimum Qualifications

Ohio Bar membership in good standing is required. Candidates must have meticulous attention to detail, be self-motivated, have handled civil cases in State and Federal Court, have strong writing skills, be able to analyze complex issues of law and work well in a team setting. Civil rights litigation experience is preferred. The City of Cleveland Department of Law seeks an attorney with at least three years of civil litigation experience. Supplemental Information
