
Senior ICT/Security BIM Designer

Responsibilities
Work independently to deliver accurate and professional design documents.
Strong engineering knowledge of both telecommunications (horizontal/backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance) or willingness to learn.
Collaborate with Junior and Senior ICT/Security designers to ensure customer needs/objectives are reflected in the 3-D model utilizing Revit or similar software.
Work independently to complete project related construction documents in Revit to show design intent and assist with system related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities.
Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project related requirements.
Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when support is needed.
Regularly perform de‑clash exercises in Revit to ensure ICT/Security scopes are well coordinated in with other disciplines.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and deliver products on schedule.
Ability to work in a high‑velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality.
Desire to progress into a designer role is a plus.
BICSI RCDD, DCDC, OSP, or RTPM a plus.
PSP (Physical Security Professional) a plus.
Experience with Data Centers and Federal Entities a plus.
"Can‑Do" attitude and problem‑solving mind‑set.
Strong computer skills and proficiency or able to work in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in Revit is preferred with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
Knowledge of engineering drawings and design standards and practices.
Strong desire for continuous learning and professional education.
Required Qualifications
Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience
A minimum of 10 years related industry experience
Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools
Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essential
Leadership and mentoring skillsets required
