We are looking for a strategic and solutions-driven leader who is analytical, collaborative, and highly organized. As a Sales Planning Manager, you will oversee a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, ensuring clear communication, efficient workflows, and high-quality deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding media plan strategy, maintaining pricing integrity, and driving successful campaign execution. You will mentor and develop team members, helping them prioritize workloads and adapt to urgent requests while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. You Will:
Team Management & Development:
Oversee the day-to-day management of a Sales Planning team vertical, ensuring they meet deadlines and successfully complete deliverables. Support onboarding and continuous training for Associate Planners and Planners. Provide career development support, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Work closely with the Senior Planning Manager and Planning Director to identify resource challenges and ensure appropriate team staffing. Act as a resource for your team throughout the media plan development process, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment. Provide hands‑on support and be a key client contact for complex or high‑priority campaigns. Help team members and partner with clients to proactively identify and address potential challenges, such as viewability, fraud, and discrepancies, while developing critical troubleshooting skills. Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Product Strategy teams to develop and optimize inventory and packaging strategies specific to your vertical. Support the governance process for pricing exceptions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and best practices. Product & Operational Knowledge:
Maintain a strong understanding of Dow Jones' product offerings and operational capabilities to effectively guide the team and support business objectives. Project Management & Strategic Initiatives:
Support project management efforts for proprietary ad tech products and tools, ensuring efficient execution and adoption. Support ad hoc projects aligned with business priorities, as directed by Senior Planning Managers and Planning Director. You Have:
