I’m partnering with one of the fastest-growing employee-owned general contractors in the Southeast, recognized for delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure and heavy civil projects across the region.
They are seeking an experienced
Senior Estimator
to join their team in North Carolina, supporting major infrastructure pursuits. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead bids on large-scale work while playing a key part in shaping preconstruction strategy for a rapidly growing ESOP contractor.
Location:
Charlotte, North Carolina
Key Responsibilities
Lead estimating efforts on large-scale heavy civil and infrastructure projects
Oversee full bid lifecycle from initial pursuit through final submission
Develop detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and pricing strategies
Manage and mentor junior estimators and support staff
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Collaborate with operations, project management, and executive teams
Participate in client meetings, bid reviews, and presentations
Support strategic planning and backlog development
