Position Details
Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Fargo, ND
Duration: 24+ Months (Possible Extension)
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical design engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
2-3 years of relevant engineering experience required
Key Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and engineering tools
Strong understanding of engineering principles, theories, and product development practices
Knowledge of circuit analysis and troubleshooting
Experience working with:
Electrical schematics
Oscilloscopes
Multimeters
Familiarity with engineering systems, tools, and technical databases
Work Experience Requirements
2-3 years experience using engineering tools, systems, and databases
2-3 years hands‑on experience in electrical circuit troubleshooting
2-3 years experience with CAD systems
1-2 years experience in electro‑mechanical automation or robotics
Experience with design and diagnostics of:
Mechanical systems
Electrical systems
Hydraulic systems
Product engineering and design experience (2-3 years)
Top Required Skills
Component and fixture tolerance stack‑up analysis (GD&T)
Electrical troubleshooting and circuit analysis
Torque, strain, and acceleration instrumentation & analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to automation or robotics systems
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in cross‑functional engineering teams
