Blacklock Group is partnering with a leading private equity firm focused on investing in the media & communications sector to identify an Associate for its investment team.
The firm partners with management teams to build market-leading businesses, leveraging deep industry expertise, operational experience, and disciplined investment execution. The team operates in a highly collaborative environment with meaningful exposure to senior leadership and portfolio company executives.
This role offers significant responsibility and involvement across the full investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain complex financial models (LBO, operating models, M&A analysis)
Conduct industry research and competitive analysis
Lead key due diligence workstreams and manage third-party advisors
Prepare investment memoranda and Investment Committee materials
Support transaction structuring and closing
Monitor portfolio company performance and KPIs
Assist with strategic and operational value-creation initiatives
Support add-on acquisitions and exit processes
Qualifications
2–4 years of investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience
Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
Interest in media, communications, or digital business models
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
