Job Summary As an Electrical Engineer/ Designer, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team to design innovative building systems and deliver high‑quality construction documents for impactful institutional projects across diverse markets.
We’re seeking a driven and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer/Designer who is eager to contribute, grow their expertise, and build a rewarding career as part of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
Design and program electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security
Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls
Develop electrical system design calculations
Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT and perform QA/QC review work
Review contractor submittals for contract compliance (as needed)
Coordinate with Owners, Architects and with other disciplines.
Complete code compliance research
Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers
Support project pursuits and client relationship development
Respond to contractor RFIs
You Will Be a Great Fit If
3–7+ years of electrical design experience (power, fire alarm, communications)
Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and electrical modeling tools
Knowledge of NEC and IECC
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and collaborative
PE license a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Location Lafayette, LA
Travel Less than 10%
