Job Description We are seeking an Advanced Sales Engineer – HPC and Quantum Technologies (f/m/d) in Germany. The role focuses on selling HPC (including AI) solutions and, ideally, emerging Quantum Technologies, bridging technical complexity with business value. You will work with research, academic, government, and enterprise clients.

Sales and business development: Achieve required sales and revenue targets by leveraging consultative selling, strategic account management, and ecosystem partnerships.
Teamwork development: Actively collaborate with the Account Manager, presales, services, and partner teams for each opportunity.
Solution design: Design optimal tailored solutions with team support.
Industry and technical knowledge:
HPC: Knowledge of HPC architectures (GPU clusters, CPU‑based supercomputers, cloud HPC, HPC networking, management software, storage) and main competitors (Lenovo, Dell, HPE, Eviden).
Quantum: Understanding of quantum computing paradigms (gate‑based, annealing, hybrid) and simulation/emulation frameworks.
Develop and leverage relationships with the HPC and Quantum ecosystems to craft right commercial proposals:
HPC: Partners such as Supermicro, Nvidia, AMD, Intel, Netapp, OpenNebula.
Quantum: Roles of Fsas and competitors in quantum computing, emulators, annealing, communications.
Strategic partnerships: Build relationships with key players to participate in joint proposals requiring multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of the EuroHPC framework to facilitate complex HPC deals.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve assigned sales and business targets.
Collaborate with sales and presales teams to identify potential customers, understand their requirements, and propose tailored HPC and Quantum solutions.
Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders at customers to position Fsas and its proposals effectively.
Build strong relationships with strategic partners to jointly present tailored proposals.
Participate in RFP responses alongside the Account Manager and the broader team, ensuring completeness of the proposal.
Propose PoCs for the relevant technologies as required.
Professional Background
Experience: 3+ years in HPC sales roles with interest in expanding to quantum technologies. Desirable knowledge of European processes such as those at EuroHPC.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
Strong problem‑solving mindset and customer‑centric approach.
Capability to work in extended teams, both internal and external.
Strategic thinker with a passion for emerging technologies and innovation.
