
Product Controller- Municipal Bonds

We are seeking a skilled Municipal Product Controller professional to join a leading organization in the financial services industry.

Description
Perform daily profit and loss (P&L) reporting and analysis for municipal structured finance products.
Reconcile trade data and ensure alignment with financial systems for accuracy.
Provide support for month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Collaborate with traders, risk management, and operations teams to address discrepancies and resolve issues.
Assist in the preparation of regulatory and management reporting as required.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Work on ad hoc projects and initiatives to support the broader finance team.
Profile
5+ years of product control experience with municipal securities.
Familiarity with AFS accounting.
Strong knowledge of municipal structured finance and product control processes.
Proficiency with financial systems and tools, including Excel and relevant software.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements within financial services.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
