
Tax Senior

We are hiring for a growing CPA firm based in Jacksonville, FL, seeking a Tax Senior to join the team.
Overview With a tax client base of approximately 900 clients, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized service. This role offers strong exposure to a variety of clients and clear progression into a Tax Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations
Handle a mix of simple to moderately complex returns, including corporate entities with revenues up to ~$5M
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines, particularly during busy season
Serve as a client-facing professional—leading meetings, addressing queries, and building relationships
Identify tax planning opportunities and support clients with proactive advice
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate filings
Requirements
3+ years of public accounting tax experience
Strong experience preparing both individual and corporate tax returns
Ability to handle moderately complex tax situations independently
Comfortable in a client-facing role, including leading meetings
Strong organizational and communication skills
CPA or CPA-track preferred
