
Director of Facility Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Facility Maintenance to lead and oversee all maintenance operations across our client facilities. In this role, we will rely on you to ensure that all properties are safe, efficient, and well‑maintained while delivering high‑quality service through our network of vendors and partners.
Key Responsibilities
We oversee and manage all facility maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
We develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life
We lead and support regional managers, technicians, and vendor partners
We ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
We manage vendor performance, contracts, and service‑level agreements
We analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs
We collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized maintenance solutions
We oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for maintenance operations
We respond to emergency maintenance situations and ensure timely resolution
Qualifications
We require a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
We expect 8–10+ years of experience in facility maintenance or operations management
We prefer prior leadership experience managing multi‑site operations and vendor networks
We look for strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
We value experience with facility management software and work‑order systems
We expect excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
