About the Job Director, Distribution & Brand Support
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: VP Supply Chain

Position Summary The Director of Distribution & Brand Support leads the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of the distribution network supporting all GOSH foodservice brands. Operating within a shared services model, this role ensures reliable product flow from suppliers through distribution partners to restaurants across the system.
This leader serves as the primary liaison between distribution partners, franchisees, restaurant operations teams, and brand leadership to ensure supply continuity, strong service levels, and cost‑effective logistics operations. The role oversees demand planning, freight management, distribution partnerships, and supply chain program support across all brands.
The Director also leads a team of Supply Chain Managers responsible for brand support and restaurant service, ensuring that supply chain solutions enable operational success in the field while maintaining strong cost discipline and supplier accountability.
What You’ll Own (Core Responsibilities) Distribution Strategy & Operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for distribution partners, franchisees, and restaurant support teams for distribution‑related matters
Lead the performance management of distribution partners, including service levels, KPIs, and operational accountability
Ensure continuity of supply from production facilities through the distribution network to restaurants across all brands
Identify and implement improvements to distribution efficiency, service quality, and cost management
Distribution Partnerships & Contract Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distribution partners
Lead distribution and freight contract negotiations and ensure adherence to service and performance agreements
Conduct RFP processes for distribution and freight services as required based on contract cycles or network changes
Monitor partner performance against agreed KPIs and address service issues proactively
Brand & Restaurant Support
Oversee Supply Chain Managers responsible for supporting brand teams and restaurant operations
Ensure effective customer service to field teams, franchisees, and brand leadership on distribution and supply chain matters
Support cross‑functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency, product availability, and restaurant experience
Maintain and audit pricing to ensure all pricing is submitted accurately
Track and monitor product quality issues in restaurants to work with Procurement and Culinary team to resolve
Demand Planning & Supply Chain Coordination
Lead demand and materials planning efforts across the Supply Chain team for all core, LTO, or promotional items
Partner with procurement, culinary and other cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory planning
Manage the proprietary item list and approved substitution list, including pricing alignment and updates
Cost Optimization & Supply Chain Performance
Deliver annual cost savings through distribution and logistics efficiencies while supporting revenue‑generating brand initiatives
Identify opportunities for freight optimization, inventory improvements, and network efficiencies
Support financial planning and reporting related to distribution operations
Data & Systems Management
Oversee data integrity within supply chain systems and reporting tools
Maintain accurate product, pricing, and logistics data to support operational decision‑making
Leverage analytics and reporting to monitor distribution performance and identify improvement opportunities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop Supply Chain Managers responsible for brand and field support
Establish clear expectations, priorities, and performance metrics for the team
Foster collaboration across brand teams, operations, procurement, and supplier partners
Promote a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or equivalent experience
Experience managing and developing team members in a supply chain or distribution environment
Strong demand planning and forecasting experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working within restaurant or food service supply chains
Ability to manage complex operational relationships with distributors and supply partners
Preferred Qualifications
Ten or more years of experience supporting restaurant or food service supply chain operations
Experience working in multi‑brand and franchise‑based restaurant organizations
Experience leading distribution network strategy or logistics optimization initiatives
