Description KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing civil construction firm near Concord, NH is seeking a Senior Estimator with 5–8 years of experience estimating civil/sitework projects. This role will focus on preparing competitive bids for infrastructure and site development projects, including work with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT).
Key Highlights
Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for civil construction projects (sitework, roadways, utilities, drainage).
Review plans, specs, and bid documents for state and municipal projects across New Hampshire.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid reviews with leadership.
Maintain cost databases and historical bid data to support accurate estimating.
Collaborate with project management and operations teams during project handoff.
Requirements
5–8 years of estimating experience in civil construction, sitework, or state funded projects.
Experience bidding DOT or municipal infrastructure projects preferred.
Ability to perform detailed takeoffs from civil plans and specifications.
Experience with estimating software.
