
Senior Media Buying and Execution Manager

The Senior Media Buying and Execution Manager is responsible for planning, negotiating, buying, activating, and evaluating Razny Jewelers' paid media programs across digital, social, and traditional environments. They will also oversee reporting, ongoing campaign optimization, and media reconciliation.
The Senior Media Buying and Execution Manager must have in-depth knowledge of all digital channels, including paid social and social shopping (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), search, display, video, streaming, traditional (TV, print, OOH, and radio), and emerging channels such as Reddit. The role will also evaluate and test emerging media opportunities, including advertising within AI-driven and LLM-based platforms.
Responsibilities Strategy, Planning, and Evaluation
Participate in shaping strategy and lead media plan development.
Identify, organize, purchase, and negotiate cost-effective, scalable, and targeted media agreements across channels.
Responsible for relationships with third-party vendors – e.g., keeping current on all offerings, investment levels, ad types, and inventory.
Lead insertion order (IO) creation and trafficking for all media buys.
Oversee budget management, reconciliation, post-buy analysis, reporting, and billing for all media buys and campaigns.
Co-Op and Partner Brands:
Develop, implement, and measure all co-op media programs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all co-op marketing needs.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with Razny’s co-op partners and brands.
Monitor and track co-op fund usage, ensuring compliance with guidelines and helping maximize Razny’s co-op dollars.
Media Specific:
Own, ideate, build, and implement optimization strategies for programmatic campaigns across multiple channels (banner, video, audio, native, etc.)
Implement bidding best practices to improve campaign performance.
Manage PPC on search platforms and social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram) with precision in targeting.
Maximize digital campaign effectiveness through A-B testing, ad variations, audience segmenting, innovative executions, etc.
Identify target audiences, research, buy, implement, and measure traditional media campaigns such as print, broadcast, OOH, radio, etc.
Evaluate, test, and measure emerging advertising opportunities within AI-driven and LLM-based platforms, ensuring brand safety, performance accountability, and alignment with broader media strategy.
Evaluate and support social commerce opportunities across platforms, integrating shoppable formats and performance insights to drive measurable results.
Coordinate with media partners to negotiate added value and special placement opportunities.
General:
Ensure the quality of all media deliverables with impeccable attention to detail.
Coordinate closely with the Creative Team to ensure creative development and trafficking needs.
Manage media deadlines and workflows (calendars, budgets, meetings), prioritizing tasks based on media deadlines and requests.
Assist with daily marketing administrative tasks, spreadsheet updates, analysis, and reporting.
Support the marketing director or other team managers as needed.
Train and oversee Media Execution Coordinator or Media Intern positions.
Stay current with new media trends and technologies.
