Our customer in the Sterilization and Disinfection Control industry is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead their Bozeman manufacturing facility, which produces biological and chemical indicators used in pharmaceutical, healthcare, and dental sterilization validation.

Role Overview
The Operations Director is the senior operational leader at the site, responsible for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team development. This hands‑on role requires a leader who spends meaningful time at gemba, coaching teams, driving continuous improvement, and strengthening a culture of scientific rigor and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operational performance at gemba; reinforce problem‑solving and standard work. Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale. Implement and sustain lean systems and continuous improvement practices. Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to ensure compliant, capable processes. Build leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development. Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, and FDA‑regulated quality requirements. Collaborate cross‑functionally and maintain strong customer focus. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field. 10–15 years of progressive operations leadership, including 5+ years in a senior role. Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification preferred). Strong analytical, financial, and decision‑making skills. Experience with ERP and business intelligence systems (SAP, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI). Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
