Position Summary Integrated Systems Salesperson —responsible for promoting and selling advanced integrated systems for fire, security, audiovisual, and data communications applications. The role requires leveraging technical expertise, engaging clients, understanding unique needs, and crafting tailored solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and connectivity. Commission eligible.
Systems sold may include: Fire Alarm, Intrusion Detection, Access Control, CCTV, IP Cameras, Networking Infrastructure, Telecom, BDA, DAS, Audio/Video, Nurse Call, Area of Refuge, Intercom, Crestron, Extron, Honeywell, Notifier, Gamewell FCI, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, Siemens, AutoCall/JCI, or RATH.
What You Will Do
Engage clients to understand their fire, life safety, and security requirements.
Collaborate with contractors, participate in bids, and develop proposals aligned with project specifications.
Ensure integration of fire and security systems within broader project frameworks.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships for satisfaction and repeat business.
Prepare detailed sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, forecast future sales, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure all system designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
Work closely with engineering, project management, and customer‑service teams for seamless project execution.
Provide training and educational resources to clients on system operation and maintenance.
Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for both client and company.
What You Need
3–5 years of contract sales experience in fire alarm, electronic security, or related field, including management experience.
Proven sales success and strong prospecting and negotiation skills.
In‑depth knowledge of installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, security surveillance, and access systems.
Familiarity with State, local, and BOCA codes, NFPA 72, ADA, and local authorities having jurisdiction.
Good record‑keeping skills for proposals and documentation.
Ability to enforce safety policies and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Background check clearance and valid driver’s license with good driving record for company vehicle use.
Desirable: NICET Level 1 certification (not required).
