We are seeking an experienced
HR Director
to join a growing technology and services company based in Plantation. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives operating as a
one‑person HR department . You will support the full scope of Human Resources functions, directly impacting company culture, operations, and overall business success.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the sole HR leader for approximately 50 employees across the organization.
Manage all core HR functions including payroll processing, full‑cycle recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and more.
Advise and partner closely with ownership, providing insight into employee needs and recommending initiatives to strengthen the organization.
Lead special projects, including:
Creating or updating the Employee Handbook
Designing employee engagement and recognition programs
Refining the performance review process
Building or improving the future benefits program
Who We're Looking For:
A self‑starter with the ability to independently manage all facets of HR in a small‑company environment.
Previous experience operating as a one‑person HR department is highly preferred.
Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a small or entrepreneurial environment.
Expertise in recruiting strategies and talent acquisition best practices.
Proven ability to train managers and employees, building organizational capabilities.
Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in handling sensitive HR matters.
