Advertising Sales Executive Requirements and Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in print, radio, TV or digital media advertising sales is a MUST
Proven ability to sell to small and medium-sized businesses
Strong tenure
Hunter, go-getter who is comfortable making cold calls (30-40+ per day)
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable being coached and applying feedback to grow professionally
Ability to quickly build rapport and communicate the value of marketing solutions
Must-haves
Manage and grow a defined book of business within a local sales territory
Sell multimedia advertising solutions (print + digital) tailored to client needs
Leverage a robust digital sales platform and CRM system
Build long-term relationships with clients and deliver consistent value
Identify and act on new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts
Candidates must be familiar with the local market and able to commute to the Denver office as needed. This is a hybrid role with significant time spent selling in the territory, it is not remote.
