Senior Commercial Credit Analyst
in Skowhegan, Maine.

Reporting to the SVP, Chief Risk Officer, the candidate will primarily provide financial spreading and tasks related to all types of commercial loan underwriting. Working to support loan officers and prepares credit related reports for presentation to loan officers or committees by investigating and analyzing complex commercial credit risks. This position will make recommendations regarding new deals and modifications to existing credits.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general accounting principles and demonstrated experience analyzing historical, budgeted, and projected financials to assess borrower performance. This role requires the ability to identify credit, industry, and market risks; evaluate sources of repayment and collateral; prepare sensitivity analyses and financial covenant models; and monitor borrowing base reports for accuracy and compliance. Familiarity with standard loan documentation, along with strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills, is essential. The successful candidate will be detail‑oriented, proficient with computer applications, an effective communicator both verbally and in writing, and capable of managing multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines. BS degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics and 5+ years of experience in banking/commercial credit analysis.
