
Regional Asset Protection Manager

Position Purpose
The Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPMSC) is responsible for the execution of all Asset Protection and Safety initiatives within Supply Chain for a geographic area. The RAPMSC drives shrink mitigation, accuracy, safety, regulatory compliance, and physical security standards within their assigned territory. The RAPMSC collaborates with Supply Chain leaders and facilities to ensure all Asset Protection and Safety programs are executed to standard. The RAPMSC leads, coaches, and develops the Asset Protection field teams to ensure comprehensive support for all Asset Protection, Safety, Physical Security and regulatory compliance requirements within Supply Chain buildings.
Key Responsibilities
40% - People Leadership: Responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, development and communication of all Asset Protection processes, programs, and trends. Drives accountability to the Asset Protection and Safety deliverables, including region and facility metric goals, physical security standards and regulatory and safety compliance standards with direct reports. Leads, plans and coordinates work teams to ensure effective performance. Utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload. Develops teams that drive AP performance towards achievement of quality performance standards. Leads Asset Protection field teams to drive alignment and engagement for all Asset Protection and Safety initiatives and programs that drive accuracy, mitigate shrink, reduce theft and fraud and maintain physical security standards. Coaches and mentors employees providing ongoing performance feedback. Develops leaders and builds talent bench to drive succession planning and selection; Drives the development of direct reports by conducting annual and mid-year reviews and individual development plans. Provides ongoing performance feedback. Ensures adherence to major and minor work rule policies referenced in the Standards of Performance and all company SOPs. Responsible for selection, termination, compensation, discipline and professional development of direct reports.
30% - Strategy and Planning: Drives communication and alignment to Regional and Facility team leaders on all AP initiatives, strategies and mitigation efforts to ensure awareness and alignment. Drives engagement for Asset Protection Programs with store and facility leaders ensuring the execution of strategies and processes through the Asset Protection teams within an assigned geographic region. Drives internal and external case activity, supports investigative efforts, analyzes information and metric performance that drives accuracy and safety, ensures regulatory compliance standards. Leads outlier management of facilities that have shrink, accuracy and safety results not meeting company standards and guidelines within a region. Adapts mitigation strategies as necessary to drive results.
30% - Delivery and Execution: Maintains close alignment with Region/Facility leaders to monitor progress for shrink, safety and regulatory compliance initiatives. Accountable for improved shrink and accuracy performance, internal and external investigations for theft and fraud and physical security initiatives. Identifies and resolves issues to ensure the Asset Protection Supply Chain field teams meet strategic and metric performance goals. Executes the company’s Asset Protection and Safety Programs and initiatives within the geographic region assigned.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports
This position typically reports to Director.
This position has 10-12 direct reports.
Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking; there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8–20 pounds).
Working Conditions
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
Experience in Marketing Research, Customer Experience, and/or Data Analytics.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation.
Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers.
Minimum Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Preferred Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree.
