We are seeking a full-time Construction Estimator to join our team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This on-site role involves preparing detailed quantity take-offs, managing project budgets, and collaborating closely with project teams. The Construction Estimator will analyze project requirements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accurate pricing to support successful project execution. Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for construction projects. Manage project budgets and track costs to ensure they align with estimates. Collaborate closely with project teams including design, procurement, and field operations. Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities to support accurate pricing and value engineering. Support successful project execution through meticulous estimating practices. Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage project requirements efficiently. Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools is a plus. Proficiency in budgeting and cost management. Education and Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage. Experience with housing development projects is required. Strong expertise in construction estimating and quantity take-offs. Previous experience with housing development projects or the construction industry is preferred. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
