Lynden Incorporated Lynden Incorporated is seeking a curious, motivated, and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our corporate tax team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early career professional who enjoys problem solving, learning new concepts, and working with data and technology. This position is not safety sensitive.

What You Will Be Doing

Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns and supporting workpapers

Gather, organize, and analyze data for tax filings, estimated payments, and extensions

Support state and local tax compliance, including data preparation for apportionment and sourcing

Work with large datasets in Excel and other tools to ensure accuracy and completeness

Identify inconsistencies or issues in data and proactively investigate and resolve them

Document processes and assist in improving workflows through better use of technology

Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation

What We Need from You (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

0–2 years of experience (internships in tax, accounting, or data-focused roles preferred)

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; willingness to learn advanced functions)

Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new concepts and tools

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions

Able to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively

What Would Be Nice to Bring (preferred)

CPA eligible or pursuing CPA license

Exposure to corporate or multistate tax concepts through coursework or internships

Experience with data tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, or similar)

Exposure to tax software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, or similar)

Your Schedule

We offer a flexible start window between 7:00 am to 8:00 am Monday – Friday.

To support team coordination, you are expected to begin work at the same selected time each day.

Hybrid schedule upon completion of training with 2 days onsite and 2 days offsite.

Working onsite from our office in SeaTac, WA
