How You'll Contribute
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth
Integrates evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols
Regular and reliable attendance
Perform other duties as assigned
Position serves both internal co‑workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors
Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
Skilled in the application of policies and procedures
Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices
Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards
Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff
What We're Looking For Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional Requirements Include
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred
ASLS certification preferred
