
Senior Real Estate Acquisition Manager - Dallas

Cedar Brook Properties is a large buyer of homes for renovation and resale nationwide. We revitalize existing residential properties to provide affordable, renovated homes for new homeowners. As Senior Real Estate Acquisitions Manager you will be the primary point of contact within the Dallas, TX market for all real estate acquisition activities, converting advertising into buying single‑family homes in any condition, as‑is, for cash from motivated sellers, while providing fast and friendly service. This entrepreneurial role has clear goals, performance incentives, extensive training, and innovative resources to drive success.
Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management – serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients (homeowners looking to sell), building rapport to determine their needs and provide transactional solutions.
Oversee acquisition pipeline performance and lead generation strategy, including managing leads, calls, and appointments.
Own market‑level acquisition strategy, identifying emerging submarkets, pricing trends, and tactics to maximize investment yield.
Build strategic relationships with high‑value agents, wholesalers, and investor groups to increase deal flow.
Leverage CRM system and analytics daily to track contacts, interaction details, and sales process steps; prioritize and complete all daily tasks (inbound/outbound email, calls, texts).
Accurately document all contact info and interactions with clients, adding detailed notes into the CRM system daily.
Follow up with current and prior leads at appropriate intervals.
Produce self‑generated leads through business development, building a local real‑estate investment network, utilizing MLS and other listing platforms.
Conduct comparable market‑value analysis of prospective homes, estimate repairs, and prepare as‑is cash offers.
Work seamlessly with title, legal, construction, and property‑management partners.
Advise leadership on market trends, risks, and investment priorities.
Coach, mentor, and develop acquisitions personnel to build bench strength.
Travel to clients’ homes and properties to conduct appointments and on‑site property visits.
Occasional travel to conferences and company meetings to represent the company at industry events.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in real‑estate acquisitions, investments, sales, or transactions.
Expertise in financial analysis, real‑estate risk assessment, market/submarket evaluation, and deal structuring.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate, business, marketing, or sales; MBA or equivalent strategic management experience is a plus.
Self‑motivated, highly entrepreneurial, professional, and goal‑oriented.
Excellent client service and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships and present and sell solutions; empathy, listening, and negotiation skills are a plus.
High level of integrity and sound business judgment.
Highly organized with strong time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.
Coachable and willing to learn from experienced leaders and peers.
Ability to adapt and proficiently use technology portals and applications via laptop and mobile phone.
Strong phone communication skills, able to set and close appointments over the phone and answer lead calls during business and evening hours.
Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently; open to direction and collaboration.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration
Real Estate License preferred but not required; ability to obtain licensure within a year of start date.
Licenses must be transferred to affiliate brokerage LKV Realty within 30 days of start date.
