Equipment Asset Analyst – Richmond, VA
We have an opportunity for an Equipment Asset Analyst in Richmond, VA.
Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
Associate’s degree required
2+ years related work experience
Experience utilizing SAP Enterprise Asset Management to perform specific functions required
Some experience and knowledge of the electric utility industry and the Electric Transmission's Maintenance programs and procedures preferred
Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision‑making skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Focus on quality, detail oriented
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply compliance regulations and policies
Knowledge of compliance regulations and policies
Demonstrated ability to create a network of relevant individuals to solve operational problems
Ability to develop training materials and to effectively communicate concepts to others
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Responsibilities
Manage Electric Transmission and related business unit asset information and policies through all stages of asset life cycle, including scheduling and tracking of Electric Transmission construction and maintenance activities.
Assess procedural adherence and operational risks by evaluating issues and/or gaps in identified department processes.
Recommend internal controls and/or process improvements for data‑management programs and associated processes developed to address compliance requirements set forth by NERC and other regulatory entities.
Identify and implement processes to ensure integrity of asset information across multiple platforms.
Oversee field inspection data-management activities, analyze and recommend data-collection process improvements, and resolve data-collection issues associated with deployed technology such as handheld computers and software as applicable.
Conduct inter‑departmental reviews of completed Transmission projects; analyze engineering documents to verify technical schemes and asset configurations.
Perform analyses of asset information and historical records in support of engineering studies, compliance initiatives, and audit support and documentation.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
