Responsibilities
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and potential risks Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material pricing based on project requirements Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients within specified deadlines Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
