Community hospital looking to bring on Quality RN Director! Full Relocation!
The
Hospital Quality Director
provides strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance excellence within the hospital. Develops and implements comprehensive quality programs to enhance clinical outcomes, reduce patient harm, ensure regulatory readiness, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. Collaborates with clinical leaders, medical staff, and senior leadership to foster a culture of safety and high-quality care. Reports to the CNO.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
Master's degree (MSN or similar) is strongly preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Other certifications (e.g., in Patient Safety, Lean/Six Sigma, or Infection Control) are a plus.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in healthcare quality, performance improvement, or related areas (e.g., risk management, infection prevention).
At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience with hospital accreditation processes (TJC, CMS) and quality reporting.
Strong background in clinical operations, data analysis, and project management.
Deep knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (e.g., PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma).
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and quality software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence without direct authority and build collaborative relationships across disciplines.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
