Position Summary This role provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization. The role will assume responsibility for assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi‑unit level. It also assumes 24/7 responsibility of the Director's assigned areas and is accountable to support the CNO in ensuring high‑quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Onboarding Process Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre‑employment health screening which includes a drug screen.

Job Responsibilities Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Demonstrates highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability, and the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Qualifications Education

MSN

Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health‑care related field or a BSN.

Experience

5 years of psychiatric nursing leadership experience.

Certifications Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy; CPR.

Vaccination Requirement Compliance with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of the workforce. Candidates offered this position who must be vaccinated under applicable law will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain a religious or medical exemption prior to their start date. If an exemption is granted, regular testing will be required in accordance with the law.
