POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Release Engineer to manage and optimize release processes, ensuring smooth deployments, and maintaining high-quality standards within a Salesforce environment. The Salesforce Release Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination, and management of software releases. This role ensures that releases are delivered on time, within scope, and of the highest quality. The Release Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to guarantee the seamless deployment of software products and updates while maintaining a continuous delivery pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and maintain the integrity and quality of software releases

Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments

Debug and troubleshoot release-related issues

Document and improve release processes and procedures

Ensure adherence to release schedules and deliverables

Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with software releases

Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders

Conduct release readiness reviews and ensure all release requirements are met

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in release management or a similar role

Knowledge of Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps best practices

Experience managing releases in an Agile environment

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Proficiency with Copado (Pipelines, User Stories, Back Promotions, Compliance Hub)

Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)

Hands‑on experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence

Familiarity with code quality tools (CodeScan, PMD)

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Copado Certifications (Fundamentals I/II, Developer, Administrator) preferred

Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Administrator) preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday requiring availability based on the Eastern time zone. Additionally, early morning and late‑night support may be required on an ad‑hoc basis. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
