is looking for a

Salesforce Developer / Engineer

to design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions for our clients. This role will focus on custom application development, platform configuration, and integrations with external enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will also have a foundational understanding of Salesforce administration and platform governance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern web technologies

Configure out-of-the-box Salesforce features including objects, workflows, flows, validation rules, and automation tools

Design and maintain custom data models, fields, page layouts, and security controls including roles, profiles, and permission sets

Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures

Participate in internal and client meetings to gather requirements and identify innovative Salesforce solutions

Rapidly prototype and demonstrate Salesforce capabilities to stakeholders and customers

Collaborate with administrators, architects, and business analysts to ensure scalable and secure platform design

This position is located in

Northern Virginia

and will require direct interaction with clients, subject matter experts, and IT staff.

Basic Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Demonstrated professional experience developing on the Salesforce platform

Proficiency with:

Apex programming

Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Aura Components

SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce data modeling

Experience developing and deploying custom Salesforce solutions across multiple environments

Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Git, and automated deployment pipelines)

Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST or SOAP APIs

Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, including sharing rules, roles, and permission sets

Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline

Salesforce certifications such as:

Salesforce Platform Developer I

Salesforce Platform Developer II

Experience with advanced Salesforce features such as:

Platform Events

Experience Cloud

Managed packages and AppExchange solutions

Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)

Experience building scalable solutions in large, regulated environments

Knowledge of test automation using Apex test classes and Salesforce testing best practices
