
Marketing Coordinator

Randstad is actively seeking an Marketing Coordinating to support their client based in New York, New York. The marketing coordinator would be reporting directly to the Director of Global Communications and Influencer Relations, this is a high-energy support role centered on global PR activities, influencer partnerships, and major industry events like Fashion Week. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, beauty-obsessed professional who can navigate the fast-paced world of media relations and influencer marketing with precision and poise.
Primary Responsibilities
Media & Influencer Relations: Support the Director and PR agency with press outreach, award submissions, and building evergreen media lists. Draft essential materials including press releases, product fact sheets, and pitches.
Influencer Strategy: Identify and vet potential partners using tools like Tribe. Draft influencer contracts, compile campaign briefs, and coordinate with the Social Media team for cross-platform amplification.
Logistics & Showroom Management: Maintain a meticulously organized editorial product closet. Manage the end-to-end coordination of product shipments to press, hair stylists, and influencers.
Reporting & Analytics: Track all brand press coverage and awards. Compile monthly internal reports and analyze results to measure the impact of PR initiatives.
Event & Salon Coordination: Provide hands-on support for event production and Fashion Week. Serve as the liaison for the salon team to schedule and manage press and influencer appointments.
Financial Admin: Handle invoicing for all vendors and influencers; track departmental spend and collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payments.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous PR/Communications experience (full-time or internship) within the beauty or fashion industries.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop. Familiarity with Launchmetrics or Tribe is a plus.
Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and "closet logistics" simultaneously.
Critical Thinking: A proactive problem-solver who remains effective under the pressure of aggressive project timelines.
Flexibility: Ability to work evenings or weekends during peak periods, specifically for bi-yearly Fashion Weeks and major brand events.
