Job Overview
Assistant Director of Creative Video (Assistant Creative Videographer) – full‑time, salaried position reporting to the Director of Creative Video.
Lead creative videographer for Women’s Basketball, creating cinematic videos, hype pieces, recruiting and social media content that promote staff, coaches, and student‑athletes while complying with departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies.
Essential Functions
Work closely with department lead to edit videos for a variety of promotional purposes.
Incorporate music, video, and voiceover to tell compelling and visually pleasing stories.
Attend university and athletic events to capture content.
Meet deadlines for release of content.
Set up and tear down video and audio equipment before and after events.
Maintain equipment in good working order.
Support day‑to‑day operations in logging and archiving footage.
May be required to drive a university vehicle and/or transport student‑athletes.
Perform related duties based on departmental need; job description may be changed at any time.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience Experience capturing and editing video.
Additional Qualifications Considered The position requires some evening and weekend hours and travel with the assigned team.
