Senior Director of Accounting to serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team, overseeing accounting and reporting functions, and supporting the company’s growth. This role requires strong analytical and financial technical capabilities, exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Experience managing financial operations within Sage Intacct (or a similar multi-entity cloud accounting platform), including consolidations, reporting dashboards, and automation workflows, is required. Key Responsibilities & Duties
Strategic Planning
Support the CFO in the development and execution of the company\'s strategic direction and initiatives. Support the CFO with financial modeling, investment analysis, and due diligence for projects and acquisitions. Create and refine financial and tax strategies aligned with organizational goals. Play an active, hands-on role in managing the budget and forecasting processes. Develop key performance metrics to monitor and strengthen financial and operational performance. Operations & Leadership
Lead the day-to-day financial management, reporting, and workflow automation within Sage Intacct, and other systems, ensuring optimal system utilization across multi-entity operations. Oversee all day-to-day financial and accounting operations—including affiliates, subsidiaries, and multiple corporate entities—in partnership with the Controller. Manage external accounting, finance, or operational partners and vendors. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all members of leadership and the management teams. Identify, implement, and maintain operational best practices across the organization. Financial Oversight & Risk Management
Collaborate with CFO to deliver a comprehensive reporting system for each vertical. Present financial results, insights, and recommendations to the executive team. Manage relationships with external auditors, evaluate their findings, and incorporate recommendations. Establish, maintain, and monitor robust internal controls. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and audit requirements. Communicate risk exposures and considerations to the investment committee. Monitor cash flow, liquidity positions, and forward-looking cash forecasts. Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced business or finance experience. Experience managing financial operations within Sage Intacct (or a similar multi-entity cloud accounting platform), including consolidations, reporting dashboards, and automation workflows. Demonstrated expertise in GL management, monthly, quarterly and annual closes, financial statement audits, budgeting and reporting, and multi-entity accounting environments. Proven success collaborating with executive leadership teams. Strong project management and ability to work both strategically and hands-on. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional experience in
a public accounting setting, or requisite private sector experience. Office & Travel Requirements
