Position Summary The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
The School of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Sport Management and Hospitality & Tourism invites applications for a 9‑month, Assistant Professor, tenure‑track position in Marketing.
Expected begin date is August 2026.
Teaching Responsibilities Residential and distance undergraduate courses in sales, and residential and distance undergraduate and/or graduate courses in at least one other marketing area (e.g., Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior).
Scholarship and Service Faculty are expected to demonstrate scholarship that contributes to the Boyer Model of Scholarship, engaging in community problem‑solving, integrating student learning with engagement scholarship, advancing pedagogy, and investigating disciplinary issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Marketing or closely related field with a proven record of scholarship in quality outlets.
Recently awarded doctoral candidates and ABD candidates (degree conferral before August 1 2026) will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate from an AACSB‑granting institution.
Industry experience.
University‑level teaching experience.
