Sales Engineer
Grove City, OH (Onsite / Travel Required)
We are partnering with a growing manufacturer in Grove City, OH to hire a driven Sales Engineer with a strong hunter mentality. This role is focused on generating new business within the Aerospace & Defense manufacturing space, with the opportunity to grow into long-term account ownership.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven success in hunter-style B2B sales within industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Solid technical aptitude with experience selling or supporting custom-manufactured solutions
Experience managing the full sales cycle from outreach to close
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a nationwide territory
Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and close new business through aggressive outbound prospecting and lead generation
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within industrial and manufacturing markets
Evaluate customer applications and technical requirements to recommend tailored enclosure solutions
Gather and qualify detailed customer information to support accurate quoting and execution
Consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through closing and ongoing customer support
Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales documentation
Represent the company professionally at customer sites, meetings, and industry events
Transition accounts into long-term relationships as business matures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in OEM sales
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and custom fabrication
Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck certification (or willingness to obtain)
