A well-established and rapidly growing commercial mechanical contractor in the DFW area is seeking an experienced
Sheet Metal Superintendent
to lead field operations on large-scale commercial projects.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing sheet metal installation, managing crews, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee all field operations related to sheet metal and HVAC ductwork installation
Supervise and coordinate foremen, mechanics, and field crews
Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards
Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity
Maintain strong safety culture and OSHA compliance
Support quality control and inspection processes
Qualifications
5+ years of field leadership experience in commercial sheet metal/HVAC construction
Proven experience as a Superintendent, Lead Foreman, or Senior Field Supervisor
Strong background in ductwork fabrication and installation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Experience working with mechanical contractors on commercial projects
Strong communication and team leadership skills
