Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Sales Engineer at our Elkhart, IN location. This position will require a Multi-Functional individual with the ability and willingness to assume various roles. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for engaging with clients to understand their requirements, providing technical support, and delivering tailored machinery solutions. The role involves product development, creation of Bills of Materials, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, managing sales strategies, and building strong client relationships. The individual will collaborate with the internal technical team to ensure customer needs are met and will actively contribute to driving the company's sales objectives. Qualifications Experience in Technical Sales and Sales Engineering, with an ability to translate technical concepts into customer solutions Strong skills in Communication and the ability to convey complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Proven track record in Sales and developing client relationships to drive business growth Ability to provide Technical Support and troubleshoot client needs with a problem-solving approach Knowledge of industrial machinery, manufacturing processes, or extrusion techniques is preferred Strong organizational and project management skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, or related field, or equivalent professional experience Proficiency in SolidWorks Work Closely with both sales and manufacturing to make changes and improve product Ability to learn MRP software and produce Bills of Materials
