Director of Service Quality & Operational Excellence
is a transformational leader who champions continuous improvement, world‑class service quality, and operational excellence across Superior Completion Services. This role plays a critical part in shaping how we operate, driving innovative strategies that elevate safety, reliability, customer experience, and performance at every level of the organization. By translating vision into action, the Director ensures best‑in‑class service delivery, optimizes operational efficiency, and unlocks sustainable profitability, reinforcing Superior’s reputation as a trusted leader in downhole completion services.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead the development and deployment of service quality standards, ensuring alignment with operational goals and customer expectations.
Define, implement, and continuously improve operational excellence strategies, including process standardization and KPI alignment.
Oversee global QA/QC programs across field service and shop operations.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Product Line Management, Sales, and HSE to embed quality and performance standards throughout service delivery.
Monitor and audit field performance, leading root cause analyses and corrective actions to close quality gaps and drive sustained improvement.
Proficient with the Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Proficient with D365 System.

Supervisor Responsibilities
Directly supervise regional or functional leaders responsible for service quality and operational excellence initiatives.
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members across multiple locations.
Ensure alignment of team goals with corporate priorities and hold staff accountable for performance standards.
Establish and manage performance goals and review processes to drive engagement and productivity.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline required.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in downhole completions, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or quality management role.
Proven track record leading service quality, operations, or continuous improvement functions in a fast‑paced and technically demanding environment.
Strong knowledge of downhole completion tools and systems, including packers, single‑trip systems, valves, and well screens.
Deep understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and process control.
Proficient in data analytics, KPI tracking, and performance management tools.
Skilled in RCA, failure analysis, risk assessment, and CAPA methodologies.
ERP and field service systems experience preferred (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
