Elections Specialist
The elections specialist will support the City Clerk with various election activities including election administration of local, state, and federal elections for the City of Corcoran. Some duties include preparing and processing election materials. Keeping inventory, preparing, and categorizing election equipment and supplies. Assisting with testing of election equipment to ensure accuracy. Assisting with the preparation of election equipment and supplies for deployment to polling sites. Assisting with Election Judge training and scheduling. Assisting the public by answering inquiries about election processes and providing election related information to voters. Assisting voters during absentee voting with in-person voting, mail-in voting, etc. They will also perform data entry of absentee ballot applications and voter registrations, as well as provide election day support including answering questions and resolving problems that may arise at polling places.
