--- About the Role Our firm is supporting a leading organization in the renewable energy industry with the hiring of a Desktop Provisioning Support Representative. This role supports corporate employees at a primary office location in Lehi, Utah and plays a critical part in the onboarding experience for new hires. The position focuses on end-user hardware provisioning, preparation, and logistical support to ensure employees are equipped and productive from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on desktop support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-oriented IT environment and is eager to grow their technical skill set.
Job Description The Desktop Provisioning Support Representative provides frontline IT support for internal systems, hardware, and applications. This role works closely with internal IT teams to support new hire onboarding, manage equipment lifecycle processes, and minimize disruptions to daily business operations. Key responsibilities include:
Acting as a first point of contact for employee technical support via phone, chat, email, and remote tools Supporting the ticketing process for new equipment requests and returned hardware Preparing, imaging, packaging, and shipping computer equipment for new hires Following and documenting standard processes for tracking provisioning activity Communicating clearly and professionally with a large and diverse employee population Accurately documenting issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for escalation, audit, and review purposes Ensuring adherence to organizational security standards to protect systems and data Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with desktop or hardware support IT provisioning experience Intermediate knowledge of:
Troubleshooting fundamentals Current Windows operating systems
Strong customer service and communication skills Ability and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes Comfort working in a structured, process-driven IT environment Preferred Qualifications:
