This role is ideal for a strategic, execution focused
product marketing leader
with the ability to shape end‑to‑end product strategy, lead launch and lifecycle execution, and partner closely with U.S. and global field teams. The position offers high visibility and the opportunity to influence cross‑functional and business leadership while driving meaningful patient and customer impact.
Product Marketing Leadership
Own product marketing strategy across the full product lifecycle, including launch planning and execution, in‑market optimization, line extensions, and managed product transitions through obsolescence.
Lead product positioning, messaging, and value proposition development grounded in clinical evidence, customer insights, and market dynamics.
Ensure disciplined execution and continuous improvement through product performance data, market insights, and field feedback, while maintaining brand consistency and differentiation.
Lead and influence crossfunctional stakeholders across sales, medical education, clinical, R&D, regulatory, quality, legal, marketing communications, and supply chain.
Influence outcomes in a highly matrixed organization while demonstrating strong leadership, accountability, and business acumen.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Serve as a product marketing leader within Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
Partner with sales, finance, supply chain, and operations to align forecasting, demand planning, and portfolio priorities across the product lifecycle.
Support lifecycle decisions including inventory strategy, mix optimization, and product transitions or obsolescence.
Contribute to IBP discussions to identify risks and opportunities and support delivery of annual operating plan (AOP) commitments.
Field & Customer Engagement
Act as a key product marketing partner to U.S. and global field teams, with frequent in‑person engagement to inform strategy and support execution.
Lead product launches, adoption initiatives, and lifecycle transitions through field training, tools, and messaging.
Engage directly with physicians and key stakeholders to inform product strategy, prioritization, and commercial decision‑making.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in marketing, product management, sales, consulting, or related commercial roles.
(5+ years with an advanced degree).
Proven downstream or commercial marketing experience with ownership of strategy development and execution.
Experience contributing to or leading Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or similar enterprise planning processes.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence cross‑functional and field stakeholders.
Strong analytical, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in global, highly matrixed organizations.
Medical device, healthcare, or Structural Heart experience.
Additional Information
Travel: Approximately 30%, including domestic and select global travel.
Onsite Requirement: Minimum 4 days per week onsite, supporting Medtronic’s commitment to collaboration and in‑person engagement.
This role provides meaningful exposure to senior leaders, global partners, and field organizations.
