Outside Sales Representative

Location:

Charlotte, NC (territory-based; field + remote flexibility)

Schedule : 7am-4/5pm

What This Person Will Do

Build and maintain relationships with

GCs, subs, developers, mechanical contractors, and industrial/manufacturing customers

Perform

job site walks

to define scope and support accurate estimating

Partner with internal sales, construction managers, contracts, and project controls teams

Support estimating by helping assemble

equipment lists, labor needs, logistics, and pricing

Use

Salesforce

to track pipeline, activity, and opportunities

Identify upsell opportunities across scaffold, access, and specialty equipment solutions

Be present during

project startup

to ensure alignment between sales and execution teams

Must‑Have Background

Prior

outside sales experience

in

scaffold, construction services, or labor-based contracts

Strong understanding of the

construction industry

and jobsite environments

Comfortable with

Excel

(intermediate level or better)

Confident communicator who can work between field, office, and client stakeholders

Experience with

scaffold estimating or work access cost estimating

Background in

engineering, drafting, or construction estimating

Familiarity selling access solutions or temporary structures

Ideal Profile

Relationship-first salesperson (not transactional)

Comfortable being on jobsites and talking through scope details

Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
