Responsibilities

Manage a sales territory by building and maintaining customer relationships, closing deals, and collaborating with third‑party reps.

Achieve assigned sales quotas for revenue and other metrics such as units sold.

Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

Prepare accurate sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and inform future strategies.

Build relationships with MFG reps to drive demand, including ride‑along, lunch & learn, and technical training.

Provide quarterly rep assessments using Trystar’s playbook tools and make recommendations to Management.

Navigate the sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring efficient completion and maximizing business wins.

Identify and qualify sales leads through prospecting and market research.

Uncover and understand client needs and challenges within the territory.

Present and tailor products or services to address identified needs.

Provide deep product knowledge through technical presentations and demos.

Close deals and set customer expectations for mutually beneficial agreements.

Utilize CRM effectively, managing the sales funnel and providing actionable feedback on interactions and market trends.

Attend tradeshows, customer events, regional association meetings, and corporate engagements on Trystar’s behalf.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

10+ years of sales experience with a strong track record of achieving targets.

Deep understanding of the design‑build and bid‑spec construction market.

Experience in both direct and independent manufacturer’s representative sales.

High level of initiative, energy, and ownership of business results.

Proficiency in CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other common business software.

Willing to travel >70% of the time.

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Candidate must be based in the assigned sales territory.
