Overview
The Director of Operations leads Maintenance, Bio-Med, Security, and oversees the Safety/Emergency Management for the facility to ensure the local codes and laws are met. Must have a thorough knowledge of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. Performs duties that maintain the mechanical integrity of the facility as well as the duties of each department. Assures a safe environment for the patients, visitors and staff. Lead and/or provides oversight of the Safety Committee and Emergency Management Committee. The Director of Operations is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Lead Maintenance, Bio-Med, Security, and oversee Safety/Emergency Management to ensure compliance with local codes and laws.
Maintain the mechanical integrity of the facility and oversee duties of each department.
Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Lead and/or provide oversight of the Safety Committee and Emergency Management Committee.
Complete all duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma required. Higher degree strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with project coordination or management; minimum of five (5) years’ experience with Environment of Care and hospital safety preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to be insured under RMCHCS vehicle liability policy is required.
Forklift training certificate required or within one year of hire.
Compensation Compensation: $115,000 per year
