Salary: $85k-105K per year
Term: C-H or Open to Possibly Permanent if strong candidates
Schedule: Mon-Fri, Onsite 5 days a week (Hybrid available)
Job Overview
Privately owned insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial lines accounts. The Account Manager will service a book of business, client communications, help clients understand their coverage, nurture key relationships, and utilize the agency management system for documentation and workflow processes per agency standards.
This position will be responsible for providing timely and professional day-to-day client service working closely with the insurance agency producer and carrier underwriters.
Responsibilities
Market new business and account renewals, obtaining competitive coverage/cost ratios for clients.
Submit renewal business to various markets; work with team members to execute all renewals in a timely manner. Generate accurate renewal submission proposals.
Manage day-to-day account transactions, including additions/deletions of vehicles, property acquisitions, exposure changes, contract reviews, coverage analysis, and program recommendations, with client interaction.
Provide clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes. Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or updates needed to current policies.
Effectively manage preparation and production of all elements of presentations for client meetings and properly represent the company. Address client questions and identify next steps as appropriate.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent insurance industry experience related to servicing mid to large commercial accounts.
Agency/Broker experience.
Current Property & Casualty license.
AMS360 recent experience.
Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
