Principal Consultant / Solution Architect (D365 Sales – Healthcare Payer)
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Onsite)

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory:
Lead business process transformation workshops to define the "To-Be" state for Payer sales organizations. Translate complex Payer business models (Individual, Group, Medicare/Medicaid) into D365 functional designs.
Solution Architecture:
Oversee the architectural integrity of the D365 Sales implementation, including complex integrations with legacy Claim Processing Systems (e.g., Facets, QNXT), Provider Data Management, and Enrollment engines.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
Ensure all digital solutions adhere to
HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS
regulations. Define data residency and security protocols within the Dataverse to protect PHI/PII.
Thought Leadership:
Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in Healthcare CRM, contributing to white papers, industry conferences, and Microsoft’s inner-circle advisory boards.
Executive Presence:
Ability to challenge and influence C-level executives (CIO, CMO, COO) on digital strategy.
Required Domain Expertise (Healthcare Payer)
Payer Value Chain:
Deep knowledge of the Health Insurance lifecycle: Prospect-to-Card conversion, Broker/Agency Management, Group Sales/Underwriting support, and Renewal management.
Healthcare IT Ecosystem:
Strong understanding of Interoperability standards ( HL7, FHIR ) and how CRM integrates with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Payer Core Administrative Processing Systems (CAPS).
Regulatory Knowledge:
Expert-level understanding of ACA (Affordable Care Act) requirements, Medicare Advantage sales cycles, and state-specific Medicaid compliance.
Technical & Functional Qualifications
15+ Years in Microsoft Dynamics:
A career spanning the evolution of Dynamics (from 4.0/2011 to modern D365 Cloud).
Functional Mastery:
Advanced configuration of D365 Sales, Power Automate, and Power Pages. Expertise in the
Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare
is highly preferred.
Defect & Quality Management:
Proven track record in "Straighten Defection" (Zero-defect delivery) through rigorous UAT, automated testing strategies, and robust DevOps pipelines.
Data Strategy:
Expertise in complex data migration from legacy CRM/Mainframe systems to D365, ensuring data integrity and historical continuity for member records.
Experience & Education
Project Portfolio:
Must have led at least 3–4 full-lifecycle D365 implementations for Top-50 US Health Plans or Global Payers.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, CS, or MBA.
Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate and Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
