professional with familiarity in the
medical device
and
life sciences
sectors to join its firm as a
Vice President .
The position is to work directly with our SVP’s and Partner in the execution of client IR programs and assisting in prospecting new clients. The position has meaningful opportunity for growth over time.
Responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining strong teamwork with our key members of the group including the team leader
Developing and managing strong relationships with clients’ senior management teams; and maintain familiarity with clients’ businesses and competition
Assisting with the creation and preparation of key messages and supporting investor presentation materials for senior management
Interacting with senior company executives to prepare for quarterly earnings calls, including drafting earnings releases, conference call scripts, management Q&A preparation, and investor feedback
Developing company’s marketing materials, including corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets, and IR website content
Developing and managing relationships with current key analysts and institutional investors; build new relationships with potential analysts and institutional investors
Tracking and reporting on our client’s competitor/peer business developments and financial results
Preparing reports and analysis for client outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, and changes to institutional shareholder base
Developing and managing timeline for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
Assisting with business development initiatives
Job Requirements: The successful candidate should have
A minimum of 5 years experience working in the capital markets;
Other requirements include:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Communications or related field
Strong understanding of the capital markets
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, inclusive of biotech, medtech and diagnostics, is a must
Good working knowledge of analyst modeling and able to complete pro‑forma models
Excellent interpersonal & verbal / written communication skills
Proactive, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented
Strong commitment to customer service
Computer skills a must (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Able to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision
Great team player; able to work in cross‑cultural/cross‑functional teams
